The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) with more than 10,000 members, is
the largest student-managed organization in the country.
The Mission
NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black
engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact
the community.
NSBE is comprised of more than 270 chapters on college and university
campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters nationwide and 75 Pre-College chapters.
These chapters are geographically divided into six regions.
2006 - 2007 NSBE Goals:
- Elect new core members
2. Keep NSBE room BE126
3. Register with SOAR [ 4 signatures needed ]
4. Do 3 events with SOAR funding [1 per quarter]
5. Order/Design NSBE T-Shirts [SOAR Funding]
6. Get Conference Funding
